Switch Salsa Dancing with DJ Jams Bond
Switch Salsa Dancing is a Hudson Valley dance event with instruction that encourages dancers to both lead and follow, so everyone can switch roles, removing traditional gender roles from the equation. At Switch socials, everyone wears a label that says either lead, follow or switch to signal what role they want to have. As a queer nonbinary host and instructor, Jules aims to make partner dancing more comfortable and accessible, especially for the queer and trans community, by creating a culture where anyone can dance in any role, and self-identify their preference.
