Ceramics: Beginner/Intermediate Wheel Throwing class begins
Wednesdays, 10:00 am – 12:30 pm May 13 – June 24 (7 weeks) Byrdcliffe Barn Instructor: Rich Conti Advanced registration is required to attend class Register here This class will teach new students the basic skills to make pottery and reenforce skills to people who have had some experience and are looking to gain the confidence to make larger more complex pottery. People with no experience will focus on centering and making bowls and cylinders. Intermediate students will hone their skills working on shaping and additions of handles lids knobs and spouts. We will then learn how to glaze and understand the firing process.
