Saugerties sits where the Esopus Creek flows into the Hudson — editorially on both sides of the HV / Catskills line, and covered on both pages with different angles. On the HV side, Saugerties is the river-town-antiquing-and-Partition-Street-dining destination: New World Home Cooking, Bread Alone, the Saugerties Lighthouse boardwalk, and a dense cluster of antique stores on Main and Partition. No licensed cannabis dispensary in town yet; the closest are 20 minutes west in Woodstock or 25 minutes south in Stone Ridge. This hub covers the Saugerties weekend on the food-and-river side for adult consumers 21+.
