What to expect
Five days of independent cinema spread across Woodstock, Saugerties, Rosendale and Kingston, with panels, filmmaker Q&As and live music between screenings. More than 90 percent of directors attend in person, which is the reason to go: the post-screening conversation is the festival, not a bonus. Venues are walkable in each village, so pick one town per day rather than chasing the full program. Adults 21+ who plan to visit a licensed dispensary between screenings should verify licensed status via the OCM QR code at cannabis.ny.gov.
The rule, plainly
Adults 21 and over may possess up to three ounces of flower and 24 grams of concentrate, bought from a licensed shop.
