The Newburgh Historical Society's 2026 exhibit focuses on the life and context of Newburgh's Hudson River School painter Thomas B. Pope (1833-1891). This show explores the varied life of Thomas Pope in the rapidly evolving city of Newburgh touching on his life, work, community engagement, as well as his art.
