About

Dutchess Roots is an OCM-licensed adult-use cannabis shop serving Poughkeepsie. The license is publicly listed as OCM-RETL-24-000226 — active status is verifiable via the OCM QR-code portal at cannabis.ny.gov before a first visit. The shop offers in-store pickup. State-regulated product categories include flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles (capped at 10mg THC per serving), concentrates, tinctures, and topicals — all lab-tested and OCM-compliant. Adults 21+ only; a valid government-issued ID is required at entry. Up and down the Hudson Valley, licensed dispensaries have been setting up in Kingston, Beacon, Poughkeepsie, New Paltz, Rhinebeck, and the smaller Ulster and Dutchess County towns — part of the broader farm-to-shelf economy the valley has been cultivating for a decade. The shop's site carries current menu and hours. Weekly stock rotations are common, so a same-day check is usually worthwhile. For first-time visitors or anyone new to a specific product category, the budtenders are there to guide dose + format choices — the "start low, go slow" principle still applies, especially on edibles at 10mg per serving.
