About

Best Buds of New York, operates in Poughkeepsie under a state-issued adult-use cannabis retail license, regulated by the NY Office of Cannabis Management (OCM). Registered license: OCM-RETL-25-000286. Status is public record via OCM's verification portal at cannabis.ny.gov. The shop offers in-store pickup. New York's regulated product categories cover flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges, 10mg-per-serving edibles, concentrates, tinctures, and topicals — all third-party lab-tested and packaged in tamper-evident child-resistant containers per state rules. Sales are 21+ only. Bring valid ID — retailers are required by state law to check on every visit. New York's licensed retail rolled into the Hudson Valley alongside the region's wine, cider, and farm-distillery economies — and the shops here tend to reflect that sensibility more than New York City's denser urban vibe. Current menu and same-day availability rotate, so a quick phone check before you visit is usually the fastest way to confirm what's in stock. Anyone new to cannabis or new to a specific product category is better off asking the budtenders than guessing — the "start low, go slow" principle matters most on edibles (10mg per serving max) where onset can take 30-90 minutes.
