Oona (Bruno) Licamele: Ruptured Symbiosis EXHIBITION: March 13–April 26, 2026 OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday, March 14, 4-6pm FOUNDERS GALLERY Ruptured Symbiosis is an immersive sculptural installation rooted in the artist’s experience with the evolving relationship between body and self. Having confronted a deep discomfort with her own body before chemically altering herself, it was as though a substrate began to deteriorate, melt away, and allow her to see herself in a new way. This installation speaks not only to this process of transmutation, but also to the artist’s developing sense of control over her material state.
