About

BIG GAS DISPENSARY holds an adult-use cannabis retail license for New Paltz, registered with New York's Office of Cannabis Management. The license is publicly listed as OCM-CAURD-24-000118 — active status is verifiable via the OCM QR-code portal at cannabis.ny.gov before a first visit. The shop offers in-store pickup. New York's regulated product categories cover flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges, 10mg-per-serving edibles, concentrates, tinctures, and topicals — all third-party lab-tested and packaged in tamper-evident child-resistant containers per state rules. Adults 21+ only; a valid government-issued ID is required at entry. The Hudson Valley's retail cannabis rollout has leaned into the region's agricultural and farm-to-table identity — small-farm partnerships, locally-made edibles, and storefronts often tucked into historic small-town main streets rather than commercial strips. Current menu and same-day availability are listed on the shop site; pricing and stock rotate, so a quick check before you head in is usually worth it. Anyone new to cannabis or new to a specific product category is better off asking the budtenders than guessing — the "start low, go slow" principle matters most on edibles (10mg per serving max) where onset can take 30-90 minutes.
